On 15 July 2025, the ASEAN Committee in The Hague (ACTH) undertook a visit to the Friesland province in northern Netherlands. The Embassy was represented by H.E. Dato' Roseli Abdul, Ambassador of Malaysia, and Mr Imran Hakim Mohamedsha, First Secretary.
The Ambassadors were greeted by Mr A.A.M Brok, the King's Commissioner in Friesland, in the historic Steateseal, before discussing regional political developments as well as the economic partnership between the Netherlands and ASEAN.
Subsequently, the Ambassadors visited the Dairy Campus, a dairy farming research centre, and were briefed on the centre’s high-tech operations. In his capacity as the ACTH Chair, H.E. Dato' was also interviewed by Omrop Fryslân, the regional public broadcaster, regarding the visit.
