H.E. Dr Fauziah Mohamad Taib was one of three Asian painters who took part in a an exhibition “Asian Brushes” at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Headquarters, The Hague from 13-18 February 2012. This is the first time the OPCW is hosting such an exhibition.
The Director General of the OPCW officiated the opening, which was well attended by members of the Diplomatic Corp, senior Dutch officials, Representatives to the OPCW, community leaders and Malaysians living and working in the Netherlands.
A self-taught painter, H.E. Dr Fauziah chose a broad range of painting subjects – from still objects to sceneries and famous Malaysian landmarks, to be exhibited. This is her first time exhibiting her art work.
