On 23 April 2009, the Central Bureau for Genealogy had organised an Award Ceremony in The Hague for a Malaysian writer, Mr. Dennis De Witt from Melaka. Mr. De Witt won the Dutch Incentive Prize for Genealogy for his beautiful book entitled 'History of the Dutch in Malaysia'.
