A wave of global culture swept through The Hague during the Embassy Festival 2017 on 2 September 2017 at Lange Voorhout. The event was organised in collaboration with the Municipality of The Hague’s Department of International Affairs and 51 embassies and this year is the second year Malaysia participating the event. The festival showcases myriad of cultural performance and food galore including music, culinary delights, literature and arts, represented by Embassies based at the Dutch administrative capital, The Hague.
The Embassy of Malaysia presented its legendary nasi lemak, keropok lekor and traditional kuih cara together with collection of exotic tropical fruits such as jackfruit, rambutan, mangosteen and durian. The summer crowd visibly enjoyed the event and the Malaysian stall received a fair share of visitors, to experience a glimpse of taste of our local fruits and street food.
