The sweet and sultry voice of Ms Sarah-Jayne Taylorson captivated guests at Malaysia's Gala Night held on 15 November 2014 as she sang number after famous number from musicals from the West End. Ms Taylorson showed off her musical range and talent as she belted out such celebrated numbers as ‘I dreamed a Dream’ from Les Misérables, ‘Don’t Cry for me Argentina’ from Evita, the Edith Piaf classic –‘La Vie en Rose’ and the delightful more recent composition ‘Taylor the Latte Boy’.
Malaysian flavours were also a hit that night with such favourites as satay, lamb curry, beef rendang, acar rampai and dalca served to tantalize and delight the guests. Adding to the fun that night, 4 rounds of lucky draw were also held with such attractive prizes as Apple i-pads, Krups coffee maker, Nikon digital camera, dinner and hotel vouchers. The grand prize for the evening was a return trip for two to Malaysia courtesy of Malaysia Airlines.
Over 200 guests attended the event, including members of the business community, diplomatic corp, associates of the Agriculture, Trade and Tourism offices of Malaysia and representatives from Malaysian companies operating in the Netherlands including Petronas, Malaysia Airlines and Sime Darby Unimills. |
