H.E. Dato’ Ahmad Nazri Yusof, Ambassador of Malaysia, Ms. Amilatun Fazlina Zakaria, MATRADE The Hague and Mr. David Auras, MIDA Frankfurt attended the Malaysian-Dutch Business Luncheon on 11 May 2017 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. The luncheon was jointly hosted by InvestKL, Malaysian-Dutch Business Council (MDBC) and the Netherlands’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the side line of the annual ASEAN Business Dialogue organized by Dutch Foreign Ministry on the same day. Ms. Vivian Sia represented InvestKL at the event.
The objective of programme was to engage Dutch Multi-National Companies (MNC) to promote the potential and attractiveness of Greater Kuala Lumpur as strategic location for Dutch MNC to set-up the regional headquarter and investment.
In his remarks, H.E. Dato’ Dato’ Ahmad Nazri highlighted bilateral trade and investment between Malaysia and the Netherlands, and also Malaysia’s standing in the global market and in the ASEAN region and later answered questions during question-and-answer session.
It was a successful event attended by twelve major Dutch MNCs which includes ARCADIS, Shell, DAMEN Shipyard, Heineken and CEVA Logistic.
