Malaysian Food Fair 2013

On 8 and 9 June, 2013, the Embassy grounds were again the venue for the Malaysian Food Fair. Held annually since 1998, the Food Fair is a showcase of Malaysian cuisine and culinary delights. This year's event saw the participation of 16 different food and drinks stalls and attracted more than 1,000 guests to the two-day event.

Taking advantage of the sunny spring weather as well as the mouthwatering dishes available at the Fair, many guests spent the day milling about, going from stall to stall only to return for more of the same the next day. Entertaining the crowd this year were Malaysian artists Nadia (of Akademi Fantasia 6 fame), and Sarawak sape-player Matthew Ngau Jau. The Food Fair was made possible through the cooperation of Perwakilan Den Haag, the Embassy Sports Club, the Agriculture office, and Tourism Malaysia.
