On 2 July 2025, H.E. Dato’ Roseli Abdul, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Netherlands, attended the ASEAN Committee in The Hague (ACTH) meeting organised by the Embassy of the Philippines. The said meeting also comprised the Handover Ceremony of the ACTH Chairmanship from the Philippines to Malaysia.
In his remarks, H.E. Dato’ commended H.E. Mr. J. Eduardo Malaya, the Ambassador of the Philippines to the Netherlands, for his able leadership of the ACTH over the past six months, and provided a brief overview of Malaysia's proposed activities in its capacity as the current ACTH Chair for the next six months. Among the activities is the hosting of the ASEAN Day Celebration in early August 2025.
