The Sutra Dance Theatre, Malaysia in collaboration with Korzo Theatre, the Netherlands presented the RasaSutra Odissi Classical dance for the first time in the Netherlands at the Korzo Theatre on 27 October 2011. The dance was choreographed and performed by Odissi Guru Ramli Ibrahim partnered with January Low. Background score was performed live by virtuoso musicians from Orissa lead by Guru Gajendra Kumar Panda. The dance was segmented into six parts namely Mangala Caranam, Mohane Deli Chahi, Saberi Pallavi, Navarasa, Ardhaneswara and Moksha and each dance carries its own tale.
The event was attended by Dr. Fauziah Mohd Taib, the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Netherlands accompanied by officers from the Embassy.
