Tong Tong Fair 2009 (Pasar Malam Besar), The Hague

The Tong Tong Fair (formerly known as Pasar Malam Besar) is officiated by the Mayor of The Hague on 21^st May 2006. This consumer fair was held from 21^st May until 1^st of June 2009. It is one of the top four biggest consumer fairs in the Netherlands. This time around, Tourism Malaysia’s office and Agriculture Office took part in this yearly event. They have set up a co-joint booth under the Embassy of Malaysia’s name. The highlights of the booth are as below:

ii.         Fruits sampling of Malaysian fruits like durian, dragon fruit, papaya, mangosteen etc;

iii.        Agro Mas products

iv.        Sales of Malaysian sandwiches and roti prata by Malakka Restaurant, owned by Malaysian, Mr. Wong from Rotterdam and;

v.         Sale of herbal oil made from coconut oil and Senduduk Puteh from Seri Anggun Bio herbs, a bumi-Johor based company under Agriculture banner.
