On 16 January 2026, the Embassy welcomed 15 participants from The Hague Academy of International Law Winter Course for the 'Embassy Visit Programme'. This marks the second year running of the Embassy's participation in the said programme.
Led by Legal Attache Nurul Ainy Yahaya and First Secretary Imran Hakim Mohamedsha, the presentation provided a background of Malaysia and its foreign policy; the role of the Embassy in The Hague; and Malaysia’s international legal frameworks. This was followed by an engaging Q&A session, ranging from Malaysia's foreign policy within the context of international law to Malaysia's diverse culture and legal systems.
