The Embassy of Malaysia in The Hague received a visit of 10 students from the British School Netherlands (BSN) Leidschenveen campus on 23 May 2017. The visit was at the request of BSN in conjunction with Child-Ambassadors programme whereby each year a few children from year five and six will be representing his or her country as country Ambassadors throughout that academic year. They were accompanied by three teachers
The students took the opportunity to have an exchange with H.E. Dato’ Ahmad Nazri Yusof, Ambassador of Malaysia about the role of an ambassador and the pre-requisite of becoming an ambassador such as academic qualification, skills and experience.
Apart from speaking about his experience as an ambassador in the Netherlands, H.E. Ambassador took the opportunity to talk about cultural diversity and natural attraction of Malaysia. The students were also shown a short video on ‘visit Malaysia’ and the programme ended with H.E. Ambassador presented door gifts to the students and a group photo session.
