H.E. Dato’ Ahmad Nazri Yusof, Ambassador of Malaysia and officials from the Malaysian Embassy visited Dutch vegetable seed breeding company Enza Zaden in Enkhuizen on 17 February 2016. The visit was arranged by Mr. S. Siva, Director of MIDA Frankfurt as part of an effort to promote Dutch investment to Malaysia. Enza Zaden is an independent family-owned company that develops vegetable varieties and sells the seeds worldwide. The company has 17 research stations and 18 commercial subsidiaries around the world.
Upon arrival, the delegation was briefed on the overall operation of Enza Zaden delivered by Ir. Jaap P. Mazereeuw, Managing Director of Enza Zaden. The delegation was given a tour around the complex including the seed processing area and research labs. It was a productive programme and both sides benefitted from the discussion and exchange of views.
