The under 19 Yonex Dutch Junior International badminton tournament, was held in Duinwijckhall in Haarlem from 1-5 March 2017. The tournament has been running for 37 year and this year, 240 participants from 24 different nationalities participated. Many recent winners of this tournament came from countries such as Japan, Malaysia and South Korea and Malaysia’s participation this year was represented by sixteen players in men single, men double and mix double fixtures.
H.E. Dato’ Ahmad Nazri Yusof, Ambassador of Malaysia and the Embassy’s officials attended the event on 2 March 2017. His Excellency met Mr. Kwan Yoke Meng (coach/team manager) from the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) and later witnessed a single match between Malaysian shutter, Leong Jun Hao and Germany.
