- On Friday, 7 October 2011, PERWAKILAN New Zealand hosted a High Tea to welcome our new President, YBhg. Datin Norini Mokhtar at Bunga Raya Hall of the Chancery complex. YBhg. Datin arrived Wellington on 16 August 2011 and has since been actively hosting events and functions during the festive season of Aidilfitri 1432H and National Day 2011. Puan Siti Marzilah Lasa, Setiausaha PERWAKILAN New Zealand, commenced the function with her introductory remarks to welcome YBhg. Datin to New Zealand and looks forward to have her leading PERWAKILAN and its future activities.
- YBhg. Datin Norini then took the floor and began by thanking all PERWAKILAN ladies for rendering their time to prepare for the High Tea. She also expressed hope that the cooperation rendered to her predecessor will continue to be extended and for PERWAKILAN New Zealand to become more successful in the future. She also commended all the ladies for their cooking skills which was demonstrated by a varied selection of food served that evening, including nasi impit, kuah kacang, lodeh, beef rendang, sambal telur, pasta, cakes, cookies and desserts.
