The LCA is a side agreement of the Malaysia – New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (MNZFTA) which will be signed by Malaysia and New Zealand scheduled in late October 2009. LCA aims to establish a constructive framework for dialogue and cooperation on labour related policies such as work force, workplace health and safety, welfare and worker training. The signing of the Agreement will allow the Ministry of Human Resources to step up cooperation with the Government of New Zealand on labour policies issues of mutual interest.
