VISIT OF YB DATUK RONALD KIANDEE, DEPUTY SPEAKER OF HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF MALAYSIA TO NEW ZEALAND

While in New Zealand, the delegation visited Wellington and Auckland, and YB Datuk Ronald Kiandee had the opportunity to call on his counterpart, Hon. Lindsay Tisch, Deputy Speaker of Parliament New Zealand. YB Datuk Ronald Kiandee also had a meeting with Hon. Pansy Wong, Minister for Ethnic Affairs and Mr. Leith Comer, CEO of the Ministry of Maori Development.
 
The High Commissioner and Datin Rusnah Ismail hosted the delegation at a dinner held at “Rumah Malaysia” on 5 August 2009. YB Datuk Ronald Kiandee hosted a dinner for the Malaysian students in Wellington at a Malaysian restaurant “Kayu Manis” on 6 August 2009.  
The working visit was a success in solidifying our relations with New Zealand, especially between the two Parliaments.

YB Datuk Ronald Kiandee, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives undertook a working visit to New Zealand from 3-7 August 2009. Accompanying him was YB Datuk Noraini Ahmad (MP Parit Sulong); YB Abd. Rahman Bakri (MP Sabak Bernam); YB Raimee Unggi (MP Tenom); and officials from the Parliament Malaysia.
