On Thursday, 20 February 2025, Kelab STMI organised the farewell reception of Mr. Mohd Sukry bin Ahmad, Assistant Immigration Attache and Madam Normala binti Samsudin, Secretary to the High Commissioner, as well as birthday celebration event for HBS and LRS of the High Commission.
During the event, Ambassador Dato’ expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Kelab STMI for organising the event. He urged everyone to work as a team with one main objective, to raise Malaysia's image and profile in Pakistan. He also emphasised positivity, harmony and unity among the staff to attain a better working environment.
In his remarks, Ambassador Dato conveyed his heartiest congratulations to Mr. Mohammad Sukry and Madam Normala on the successful completion of their tenure in Pakistan. He appreciated their invaluable work and support, which directly contributed to the High Commission's success, and extended his best wishes for their future undertakings.
The event was subsequently followed by a potluck luncheon, a tradition upheld by all members of the High Commission, fostering a testament to camaraderie and the collective spirit of kindness among HBS and LRS through the sharing of cuisine.
