On Thursday, 14 March 2024, Ambassador Azhar Mazlan attended an annual iftar dinner hosted by Mr. Aziz Boolani, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Serena Hotels at the Serena Hotel Islamabad. The iftar dinner was attended by the former Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Jalil Abbas Jilani, Foreign Secretary Mr. Syrus Qazi, former Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, and government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, businessmen, heads of international agencies, as well as corporate executives. During the event, Aziz Boolani stated that the iftar dinner encapsulated the essence of Ramadan - a time of reflection, generosity, and community.
