On Monday, 19 August 2024, Ambassador Dato' Azhar received a courtesy call by His Excellency Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Pakistan at the High Commission of Malaysia. Ambassador Dato' Azhar warmly welcomed His Excellency Mr. Pham Anh to Islamabad. Amb. Dato' Azhar also congratulated the Ambassador of Vietnam on presentation of Letters of Credence to the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the meeting, both Heads of Mission discussed matters of mutual interest. They also discussed on the diplomatic community of ASEAN Missions based in Islamabad. The meeting was held in a friendly manner.
