HIGH COMMISSIONER?S SITE VISIT TO BAHRIA GOLF CITY
AT THE MURREE EXPRESSWAY OF ISLAMAMABAD
ON 24 MARCH 2009

On Tuesday 24 March 2009, at 12:30 p.m., HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD, High Commissioner of Malaysia visited Bahria Golf City at the Murree Expressway of Islamabad. The purpose of the visit was upon invitation by MR. MALIK RIAZ, Chairman of the Bahria Town Pakistan to experience the advancement of the construction industry in the twin cities of Islamabad-Rawalpindi. Most importantly, the conceptual developments of Bahria Town Pakistan were initiated and developed by Malaysian companies, such as TAK, Ranhill, Maxcorp, amongst others.
During the site visit, MADAME MUBASHRA ALI RIAZ, Executive Director and daughter-in-law of the Chairman MR. MALIK RIAZ together with ENGR. ANJUM SAEED, General Manager, Bahria Golf City, ENCIK TIE TECH MUK, Project Manager and ENCIK PAKIESAMY S. SAVERY, Club General Manager, Garden City Bahria Town briefed on the ongoing projects, which included the Model Resorts, Sheraton Hotel and 18-holes Golf Course.
