HIS EXCELLENCY TAN SRI RASTAM MOHD ISA COURTESY CALL ON FOREIGN MINISTER OF PAKISTAN

During the meeting, both dignitaries reiterated to improve bilateral relations between Malaysia and Pakistan. They also discussed about the forth coming meeting of Foreign Ministers which are expected to meet on the sidelines of the upcoming D-8 meeting in Malaysia on November 1-3, 2009 to focus on strengthening economic relations, investment, bilateral trade and joint ventures. Both sides agreed that the Malaysian expertise in Halal food and Pakistan’s advantages in agriculture and livestock potential could be actively utilized to the advantage of both countries. Both parties also discussed on issues of mutual interest, ways and avenues to deepen and broaden bilateral relations between Malaysia and Pakistan.
