On 30 September 2025, Mr. Mohd Syafik Firdaus, Counselor at the High Commission of Malaysia met with Mr. Abdul Razak Thebo, Director of the East Asia and Pacific (EAP) Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, at his office.
The meeting was convened to discuss preparations for the forthcoming official visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to Malaysia, scheduled to take place in October 2025. During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on the proposed agenda of the visit, the flow of the programme, as well as logistical arrangements.
The meeting reflected the strong commitment of both countries to further enhance bilateral relations and ensure the success of the high-level visit. Both officials expressed confidence that the visit would contribute significantly to strengthening the longstanding ties between Malaysia and Pakistan.
