MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE SARGODHA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (SCCI)

On 11 April 2013, His Excellency Dr. Hasrul Sani bin Mujtabar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, accompanied by Mr. Aiyub bin Omar, Head of Chancery of Malaysia, had a dialogue with Mr. Zia Amin Sheikh, President of the Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its members, Sargodha at Pearl Hall Sargodha.  His Excellency acknowledged the huge agriculture sector in Sargodha, which accounts for about 80 % of citrus fruits exports of Pakistan.  The purpose of   the meeting was to promote greater economic and bilateral ties between Malaysia and Pakistan.  His Excellency also visited the Mini Exhibition there.  He stressed the importance of the establishment of the Pakistan – Malaysia Business Council (Northern Chapter) recently and expects SCCI to participate actively.
