On 25 October 2012, His Excellency Dr. Hasrul Sani bin Mujtabar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, accompanied by Mr. Aiyub bin Omar, Head of Chancery of Malaysia, met Mr. Manzar Khurshid Sheikh, President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rawalpindi at his office. The purpose of the meeting was to promote greater economic ties and bilateral relations between Malaysia and Pakistan. The President of RCCI was accompanied by the other members of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
