On Friday, 29 March 2024, Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan and Madam Amelia Amani Lee Abdullah graced the Nuzul Quran talk, hosted by Kelab STMI at the Mayang Sari Hall. The event was also attended by the Home-based Staff (HBS), members of the PERWAKILAN, and the Locally Recruited Staff (LRS).
The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Qazi Mansoor Salim. Mr. Qazi, a Karachi-born scholar, embarked on his academic journey by obtaining a degree in Computer Science from the renowned NUCES (FAST-ICS) University in Karachi in 1988. His pursue for spiritual enlightenment led him to take the Quran grammar course at Al-Falah Manzil Trust, Islamabad, in 2009. This moment marked the beginning of his dedicated pursuit of Quranic grammar and scholarship.
Over the years, Mr. Qazi Salim has conducted numerous Quranic courses in various mosques and educational institutions, including the prestigious Role Model Institute in Karachi. His expertise in Quranic grammar and interpretation has made him a revered figure among students and scholars alike.
The Nuzul Quran talk by Mr. Qazi delved into the profound significance of the revelation of the Quran during the blessed month of Ramadan. Mr. Qazi presentation, enriched with direct references from the Holy Quran and Hadith, provided a comprehensive understanding of the importance of Nuzul Al-Quran in the lives of Muslims.
In his closing remarks, Ambassador Azhar expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Qazi for his enlightening discourse on Nuzul Quran, underscoring the significance of spiritual learning and reflection during the sacred month of Ramadan.
