SPECIALISED MARKETING MISSION TO PAKISTAN ORGANIZED BY MATRADE FROM 25 MAY - 2 JUNE 2009 On Thursday, 28 May 2009 at 09:00 a.m. HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD, High Commissioner of Malaysia had a meeting with MATRADE delegation from Chennai, India, at Serena Hotel Islamabad.
The purpose of the visit of MATRADE delegation to Pakistan is to explore business opportunities in targeted markets and to promote exports of Malaysian products. During the visit to Islamabad the delegation had business meetings with different companies and introduce to them different Malaysian products. During their stay in Islamabad, the delegation had a networking reception hosted by MATRADE with Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Executive Committee members followed by dinner at Serena Hotel Islamabad HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD and Home-Based Staff (HBS) was also present in the said networking reception. On 29 May 2009 delegation had a meeting with Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry Executive Committee Members.
On Friday, 29 May 2009, the business delegation attended a sumptuous dinner with Malaysian Cuisines hosted by HIS EXCELLECY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD at Rumah Malaysia.
The next following day, the delegation travel to Lahore for few more meeting with Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry and a courtesy call to HIS EXCELLENCY MIAN SHAHBAZ SHARIF, Chief Minister of Punjab at Punjab House Lahore.
