On 18 September 2025, Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) organised the Study in Malaysia Education Fair 2025 at Pearl Continental Hotel, Rawalpindi. The fair was designed to showcase Malaysia’s higher education opportunities to Pakistani students and to further reinforce educational cooperation between Malaysia and Pakistan.
The event was inaugurated by H.E. Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan. In his opening remarks, the High Commissioner underlined the importance of education as a bridge between both countries, noting that initiatives such as the education fair would expand bilateral collaboration while encouraging more Pakistani students to choose Malaysia as their preferred destination for quality higher education.
The fair brought together representatives from 12 leading Malaysian universities who shared detailed information on admissions, visa procedures, academic programmes, campus life and future career pathways. The interactive sessions attracted strong interest from students, parents and educators alike, with several students successfully obtaining on-the-spot admissions.
