The Malaysian Association of Papua New Guinea (MAPNG) organized the 13th Annual MBC Charity Golf tournament at Port Moresby Golf Club on 16 August 2013. The tournament which was a fund raising drive was followed by the golf charity presentation dinner on 17 August 2013 with prize presentation to golfers, charity auctions and raffles draw. A total of K900,000 (RM1.26 mil) was raised from this year’s fundraising activity, with contributions made by 173 corporate sponsors. The proceeds will go to Port Moresby General Hospital and 17 charity organisations in Papua New Guinea.
