The Malaysian Association of Papua New Guinea (MAPNG) organized the 14th Annual MBC Charity Golf tournament at Port Moresby Golf Club on 15 August 2014. The tournament which was a fund raising drive was followed by the golf charity presentation dinner on 16 August 2014 with prize presentation to golfers, charity auctions and raffles draw. A total of K950,000 (RM1.20 mil) was raised from this year’s fundraising activity, with contributions made by 169 individuals and corporate sponsors. The proceeds have been earmarked to Port Moresby General Hospital as the major beneficiary and 18 charity organisations in Papua New Guinea.
