2009 QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY HONOURS AND AWARDS, INVESTITURE CEREMONY, PORT MORESBY, PAPUA NEW GUINEA

On Thursday, 29th October 2009 two Malaysians were conferred with Knighthood 'KBE' in Papua New Guinea in an investiture ceremony officiated by Governor General Sir Paulias Matane at Government House in Port Moresby with other 100-plus recipients of the 2009 Queen's Birthday honours.

Rimbunan Hijau Group Chairman, Tan Sri Tiong Hiew King and Head of WR Carpenters (PNG and Fiji) Tan Sri Datuk Dr. Morgan Lourdenadin were honoured as their contribution in business investment, country developing and social awareness in Papua New Guinea. Among the guests that were present to witness the ceremony were PNG Cabinet Ministers and the members of Diplomatic Corps.
