On 21 April 2012, High Commissioner PYT Datin Seri Blanche Olbery together with members of the Malaysian High Commission visited Caritas Technical Secondary School in Port Moresby. The objective of the visit was to interact with students as well as teachers of the school.
During the visit, the guests were entertained by various dances performed by the students. The school also organised a birthday bash for PYT High Commissioner and prayed for her well being. At the same time, they dedicated a prayer for PYT High Commissioner’s father, the late Mr. John Clive Olbery.
Caritas is a secondary school for girls that offer basic and technical education to the youth and children of Papua New Guinea. As of now, there are 900 students under their care. The school recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary.
