H.E. Golam Mohammad, Resident Ambassador of Bangladesh to Jakarta and accredited to Papua New Guinea paid a courtesy call on H.E. Datin Seri Blanche Olbery, High Commissioner of Malaysia as the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps on October 15, 2012 at the Malaysian High Commission. H.E. the Ambassador was on his end of tour trip as he is posted to Greece and met the Governor General of Papua New Guinea before coming to the Malaysian High Commission. During the meeting, the two diplomats exchanged views on bilateral relations mostly about Malaysia and Bangladesh and how much he admired our famous statesman and former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir and how he developed a modern Malaysia. He also commended our High Commissioner and the good relations between Malaysia and Papua New Guinea especially in trade and the number of Malaysian investment in Papua New Guinea.
