A delegation from UEM Group Berhad was in Papua New Guinea to explore an investment opportunity in infrastructure sector. The team visited a project site in Western Province of Daru Island, Kiunga and Tabubil, 5 – 9 August 2012. On 8 August 2012, Ms. Lai Sheau Wei, General Manager, UEM Group Business Development and Mr. Shafidz Azhar, Senior Manager, UEM Builders (UEM subsidiaries) paid a courtesy call on the Malaysian High Commissioner to gather trade information between Malaysia and Papua New Guinea and Malaysian companies in Papua New Guinea.
