DINNER HOSTED FOR MAYBANK PNG BY THE HIGH COMMISSIONER, 18 FEBRUARY 2011
The Malaysian High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea, H.E. Datin Seri Blanche Olbery and her spouse, YBhg. Datuk Seri M. Kayveas, hosted a dinner at the Official Residence on Friday, 18 February 2011. It was attended by the CEO of Maybank (PNG) Ltd, Mr. Victor Tan and his officers and family as well as the HBS of the High Commission of Malaysia and family. A tossing of Yee Sang by all present to mark the end of the Lunar New Year was held prior to the dinner. Everybody enjoyed the delicious Malaysian cuisines - thosai, curry dhal, chicken curry, sambal ikan bilis, ikan masin, ikan masak ketcup, mixed vegetable, acar timun, papadum, karipap, kuih ketayap, pulut bersama kelapa bergula merah, ice cream wit cocktail, tea and coffee. “A truly 1Malaysia evening to remember”.
