HE Datin Seri Blanche Olbery, High Commissioner of Malaysia will end her tour of duty to Papua New Guinea at the end of June 2013. The HBS and LRS of the High Commission of Malaysia hosted a pot-luck farewell luncheon in her honour on 21 June 2013. High Commissioner Olbery thanked all her staff for all the invaluable support given to her in performing her role as the first Malaysian lady High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea. Mr. Farzamie Sarkawi, Counsellor and Head of Chancery in his short remarks thanked HE Datin Seri Blanche Olbery for her able leadership in ensuring that the Malaysian flag flies high in Papua New Guinea. Ms. Janet Christopher, Chief Clerk also thanked the Malaysian High Commissioner on behalf of all LRS. The HBS and LRS presented the Malaysian High Commissioner with farewell mementos.
