PAPUA NEW GUINEA LNG PROJECT TRAINEES LEAVING FOR PETRONAS INSTITUTE OF PETROLEUM SCIENCE (INSTEP), TERENGGANU

On 7 February 2013, the Malaysian High Commissioner, PYT. Datin Seri Blanche Olbery attended the Graduation Ceremony of 77 Papua New Guinea LNG project trainees at Gateway Hotel, Port Moresby. The trainees will leave for Malaysia to undertake training programme at PETRONAS Institute of Petroleum Science (INSTEP), from 17 February – 12 December 2013. The group, aged between 18 to 26 years old, will receive trainings on various technical aspects that include electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, processing and manufacturing.
 
In her address, PYT High Commissioner thanked Esso Highland Ltd for choosing Malaysia as their training destination and assured the company will benefit from their investment in Malaysia.
 
On 9 February 2013, PYT High Commissioner with the officials of High Commission joined family members and Esso Highlands officials at Jackson’s International Airport to bid the trainees and Esso Highlands accompanying staff farewell.
