THE MALAYSIAN FOOD FAIR ORGANISED BY THE MALAYSIAN ASSOCIATION OF PAPUA NEW GUINEA, 19 NOVEMBER 2011

 
The Malaysian High Commissioner, H.E. Datin Seri Blanche Olbery, who is also the Patron of the Malaysian Association of Papua New Guinea (MAPNG) attended the Malaysian Food Fair organized by MAPNG at the Food Junction, Vision City, Port Moresby.
 
The annual event was held to raise funds to be donated to various charity organizations in Papua New Guinea. The event was a success. A total of 18 stalls selling a variety of Malaysian food, delicacies and drinks, nasi minyak bersama berlauk ayam dan ‘lamb’ kurma, roti jala berkari ayam, laksa penang, nasi lemak, fried keow teow, roti canai, mee goring, prawn mee, yong tau fu, pau, karipap, kuih seri muka, bubur kacang hijau, bubur pulut hitam, chicken/ beef satay,with peanut sauce, pisang goreng and many more Malaysian cuisines were sold from 9.00 am – 2.00 pm. The stalls were crowded with Papua New Guineans, Malaysians and expatriates living around Port Moresby buying their favourite food thereafter enjoy the food at the food junction and also take away.
