THE MALAYSIAN HIGH COMMISSION HOSTED A DINNER TO CELEBRATE THE CHINESE NEW YEAR WITH MALAYSIANS IN PORT MORESBY, 22 JANUARY 2012
On the occasion of the Chinese New Year the Malaysian High Commission hosted a dinner to celebrate the Chinese New Year with Malaysians and home-based staff at the Dynasty Restaurant, on the eve of Chinese New Year coinciding with the New Year’s Eve Dinner and in line with the ‘1Malaysia’ concept. Malaysians who are working in the Airways hotel also joined in the celebration. They joined other Malaysian companies which hosted dinners to celebrate the Chinese New Year with their staff and families. The restaurant had lion dance performances by the Cathay Club and also lucky draw prizes.
