The Malaysian High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea, H.E. Datin Seri Blanche Olbery attended the Swearing-in Ceremony of the 9th Governor-General of Papua New Guinea, H.E. Michael Ogio, CMG, QBE on 25 February 2011, at the National Parliament, Waigani.
The Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, Sir Michael Somare, the Chief Justice of PNG, Sir Salamo Injia, the Acting Speaker of the National Parliament, Hon. Francis Marue, the Leader of the Opposition, Rt. Hon. Sir Mekere Morauta, Heads of the Diplomatic Missions and other invited guests were present at the ceremony.
