THE MALAYSIAN HIGH COMMISSIONER AT THE CHEQUE PRESENTATION CEREMONY TO THE CANOSSIAN SISTERS AT THE RIMBUNAN HIJAU OFFICE ON 7 FEBRUARY 2012
The Malaysian High Commissioner, H.E. Datin Seri Blanche Olbery, who is also the Patron of the Malaysian Association of Papua New Guinea (MAPNG) together with Mr. Ivan Lu, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the MBC Charity Golf 2011 and Mr. Nathaniel Ho, President of MAPNG presented the cheque donation of K30,000 to the Canossian Sisters for the village-based health services programme in Rigo, Central at the Rimbunan HIjau Office on 7 February 2012.
The money was part of the amount raised at the Malaysia Business Council Charity Golf Challenge in 2011. MAPNG has donated K20,000 to the Canossian Sisters for the same cause last year.
The local newspapers The National dated 7 February 2012 carried the news report entitle “Malaysians give K30,000 to sisters”.
