THE MALAYSIAN HIGH COMMISSIONER AT THE CHEQUE PRESENTATION FOR SIR BURI KIDU HEART INSTITUTE ON 11 AUGUST 2011
The Malaysian High Commissioner, H.E. Datin Seri Blanche Olbery, who is also the Patron of the Malaysian Association of Papua New Guinea (MAPNG) attended the cheque presentation ceremony for the Sir Buri Heart Institute on 11 August 2011. It was held at the Dynasty Seafood Restaurant, Vision City Mega Mall. The Moresby South MP Dame Carol Kidu, Director Sir Isi Kevau and the longest serving board member Mdm Marilyn Ward were present to receive the donation.
The Committee Members of MAPNG led by the Chairman of the Organising Committee of the MBC Charity Golf, Mr. Ivan Lu, the President of MAPNG, Mr. Nathaniel Ho, the Vice-President, Mr. Victor Tan and Committee Member Mr. Kee Lim were present at the said ceremony.
An amount of Kina 70,000 was donated (was for 2010 and 2011). It was part of the fund raised at the Malaysian Association of Papua New Guinea MBC Charity Golf 2011 and Presentation Night/Thank you dinner held on 22 and 23 July 2011 respectively.
