THE MALAYSIAN HIGH COMMISSIONER AT THE WORLD PRAYER CELEBRATION BY THE PAPUA NEW GUINEA CHRISTIAN WOMEN, 2 MARCH 2012
The Papua New Guinea Christian Women celebrated the World Day of Prayer 2012 on 2 March 2012. This year the prayer was for Malaysia. It is an annual event involving 170 countries around the world in 8 regions with its headquarters in New York.
The Malaysian High Commissioner, H.E. Datin Seri Blanche Olbery was invited and attended the celebration as a guest speaker. The celebration was coordinated by the St. Martins Anglican Church, Port Moresby. The Archbishop of Papua New Guinea, Rev. John Ribbat, the Anglican Bishop Peter Ramsden and the Australian High Commissioner, Mr. Ian Kemish also joined the prayer.
