THE MALAYSIAN HIGH COMMISSIONER / DEAN OF DIPLOMATIC CORPS PRESENTED A FAREWELL GIFT TO THE OUTGOING SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE, 14 FEBRUARY 2012
The Malaysian High Commissioner, H.E. Datin Seri Blanche Olbery, who is also the Dean of Diplomatic Corps, together with the Ambassador of China, H.E. Qiu Bohua and Ambassador of France, H.E. Alan Waquet paid a courtesy call on the Outgoing Secretary of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Ambassador Michael Maue on 14 February 2012 at his office. At the call, on behalf of the Diplomatic Corps, the Dean presented a farewell gift which is a framed picture of silver craft of Papua New Guinea. The call ended with exchange of best wishes to Ambassador Maue. Also present were the Acting Secretary, Madam Lucy Bogari together with Ms. Barbara Mimino, Director of Visits & Accreditation Branch and a DFAT Senior Official.
