Under the Chairmanship of the Malaysian Ambassador, H.E. Ahmad Jazri Mohd Johar, the 7 ASEAN Embassies resident in Qatar under the banner of ASEAN Committee in Doha (ACD) organized the ASEAN Gala Dinner 2012 on 14 June 2012 at Katara Halls, Katara Cultural Village, Doha, State of Qatar. The event was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, H.E. Ahmad bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al-Mahmoud.
The objective of the event was to showcase ASEAN’s culture, arts, life style, culinary and ethics to the people of Qatar and the international communities in Qatar. The audience was served with the flavourful ASEAN delicacies and impressed with the colourful cultural performances by the ASEAN communities cultural troupes in Qatar.
