Ambassador Shahrul Ikram : New Phase of Cooperation between Malaysia and Qatar

The Ambassador of Malaysia to the State of Qatar, Shahrul Ikram called  the Malaysians in Qatar to participate in the activation of the bilateral relation between the two countries and to contribute  in the economic development taking place in Qatar.

Shahrul said to Malaysians during the celebration of  the King’s Birthday and the National Day, that the two countries are in a new phase of cooperation and trying to build their relations on the basis of respect.

The Ambassador called in his speech, during the celebration of the occasion which was held in the Embassy headquarters, Malaysians to strengthen their relations between each others and exchange views through the Malaysian Association in Qatar (MAQ) in order to overcome difficulties that hinder their integration in society.

He also mentioned that there are about 2000 Malaysians in Qatar working in respectable companies and contributing with their colleagues in the progress and development of the State of Qatar.
