In conjunction the holy month of Ramadan, the Embassy of Malaysia hosted an Iftar and Terawih prayers on 31 May 2018 at the Embassy. It was attended by approximately 100 Malaysian diaspora in Qatar.
The event was co-sponsored by Malaysian companies i.e. AZRB, Malaysia Airport Consultancy Services (MACS), Gamuda, WCT and Muhibbah Engineering.
