On 8 May 2026, HE Faizal Razali officiated the Karnival MAQ held at the Arab International Academy. Organised by the Malaysian Association in Qatar (MAQ), the event aimed to bring together the Malaysian community in Qatar and strengthen community engagement.
The Embassy of Malaysia also participated in the programme to encourage Malaysians to register with the Embassy, particularly through the e-Konsular system, as well as to provide basic consular assistance and outreach services.
Several interactive games and activities were organised during the carnival, including quizzes and sessions featuring questions on Malaysia’s history, culture and interesting facts. The activities received encouraging participation and turnout from the Malaysian community.
