Malaysian Embassy Hosts MAQ AGM
The Malaysian Association of Qatar (MAQ) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 24 April 2009 at the Embassy compound.
H.E. Dato' Muhammad Shahrul Ikram Yaakob, Malaysian Ambassador to Qatar officiated the AGM. In his opening remarks, Dato' Shahrul Ikram urged Malaysians in Qatar to uphold the good name of Malaysia and encouraged them to support all MAQ and Embassy programmes.
A new lineup of MAQ exco members headed by Mr. Mohd Adam Abu Hassan was elected during the meeting.
