On the occasion of the 54th National Day and the 48th Malaysia Day, H.E. Amb. Ahmad Jazri bin Mohd Johar, Ambassador of Malaysia of the State of Qatar and wife, Madam Sabariah Ghulam, hosted a reception at the Holiday Villa Hotel, Doha.
H.E. Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al Kuwari, Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage of the State of Qatar came as the Guest of Honour for the event.
Other attendees included Ambassadors and diplomatic officers from other Embassies, local businessman, hotelier, representatives of Malaysian companies operating in Qatar, the committee of Malaysian Association of Qatar (MAQ), PERWAKILAN members and media.
H.E. the Ambassador delivered a speech which praised the strong ties between Malaysia and brotherly country, Qatar and encouraged more cooperation between Malaysia and Qatar especially in business and investment sectors.
The audiences were then enjoying the video presentation about colorful Malaysia in Arabic and been served Malaysian authentic delicacies prepared by Holiday Villa Hotel, Doha.
